Jessica Meyer is the mind behind these savory granolas. It all started when she went to the grocery store to replenish her favorite granola. It was no longer on the shelves and she learned that the company went out of business. After a year of trying to find another granola that met the bill, she decided to try to replicate the flavors that she enjoyed so much from the granola she could no longer buy.
The herb aisle at the grocery store got her thinking of how she could incorporate these savory flavors into a granola to be enjoyed any time of day. After multiple different concoctions, she landed on her marquee flavor, Rosemary Cherry and has since released three other flavors. She continues to experiment and will continue to release new flavors. All granola is handmade in small batches with lots of love.
The name JoCa comes from the Jo in her husband’s name, Joel and the Ca from the Ca in Jessica.
She has lived in Maryland, New Orleans, New York, Chicago and most recently Oakland, CA where the granola is made. When not cooking up herby, savory granolas, she spends time enjoying the outdoor lifestyle with her husband, daughter and dog.
